To be or not to be taxed

The Premier’s announcement to not raise taxes has caused confusion.

Mostly because both the PC and NDP parties say they see right through the Liberal party.

Nipissing MPP Vic Fideli says the Liberals promise one thing as an election approaches and then do the opposite afterwards, fully expecting the Liberals to raise taxes after election time.

He says this move is a pre-election mirage to get the Liberals passed the next vote.

Timmins-James Bay MPP Gilles Bisson agrees saying it’s not going to be a surprise what will happen following election time if the Liberals are voted back in.

He says he see’s it for what it is and uses Dalton McGuinty as an example. McGuinty went in prior to the election saying he would never raise taxes only to place HST on taxpayers afterwards.
