Ivanhoe Lake Provincial Park has two more months to book campsites for the summer.
Mayor Tom Laughren granted the extension last night giving the park until March 22nd to book the 63 campsites. 63 is the magic number the city decided on that would keep the city from taking on a financial risk.
This is the park’s second extension and Laughren says it’s their last chance.
Only 10 more sites need to be sold for the park to remain open for another year.
