Provincial money to expand rosters of FHTs

Almost 11,000 people in Timmins who don’t currently have primary health care are expected to be connected to it, through a provincial outlay of almost $1.4-million.

Timmins MPP George Pirie today announced the money for expansion of three family health care centres in the city. That’s two locations of the Timmins Academic Family Health Team for a total of 8,700 new patients, and the East End Family Health Team for 2,200.
