Seniors in hospitals are able to go home and still get the attention they need.
North East LHIN introduced a program that helps seniors with the transition called PATH (Priority Assistance to Transition Home)
In January they transitioned their 100th client home for Espanola, Parry Sound, North Bay and Sault St. Marie regions.
However, the program has yet to reach Timmins But The Red Cross is in the process of setting up the PATH programs here.
