Two Americans are being fined after an illegal bear hunt south of Matheson. They shot a black bear in Bowman Township back in 2012. The man who pulled the trigger didn’t have the proper license, so the other man attached his bear seal and exported the bear to Michigan, where they are from. All of that is illegal, and so they were fined a total of $2,100 earlier this month.
