Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli has some harsh words for Kathleen Wynne. The provincial Tory member says it’s terrible that the Premier would attack Stephen Harper, because he isn’t supporting her pension plan scheme. The Ontario Registered Pension Plan is supposed to start rolling out in 2017, which will have employees and their bosses pay for it.
But Fedeli says he keeps hearing that companies are going to lay off employees to pay for their portion. He says politicians realize the job losses will be staggering. He says Stephen Harper knows we are going to lose 30,000 jobs in Ontario because of the tax.
Fedeli also says the Premier admits that she has no idea how much this pension plan is going to cost to administer
