TPS officer fined after pleading guilty to two DUI’s

A Timmins Police officer has pleaded guilty to two separate DUI’s. David Starcevic was in court yesterday where he publicly apologized for his behaviour. He says he has been affected by PTSD.  He says he is going through treatment for post-traumatic stress as a direct result from his work as a police officer.

Starcevic says a child pornography case and a tragic car crash sent him into a downward spiral. He was fined $3,500, and is banned from driving for two years.
