Timmins Police are charging a local woman with fraud after over $100,000 was falsely claimed. The 47-year-old has been under investigation since 2011 when the inconsistencies were noticed. She was filing fake claims for purchases and appointments she didn’t show up at. She was arrested last week, and let go with a court date in the fall. She is looking at two charges of fraud over $5000.
