People in the north end of Melrose are spending the day without water coming out of their taps.
A water main leak has forced the city to turn it off,  probably until 8:00pm. It affects Suzanne St. between Martin Ave, and Randall Dr.,  as well as Riverpark Rd.
Once the water does come back on, you’re advised to run the closest tap to where it comes into your house – that’s usually the laundry tub – for at least ten minutes and it’s clear of discoloration before using it.
