The coldest night so far this season is anticipated for tonight, so City Hall has issued an extreme cold weather alert. The wind chill is expected to dip to -31C, and frostbite is possible.
The city’s recommending anyone in need of shelter go to Living Space on Spruce St. S. Outreach workers from there will also be on the street to ensure anyone who wants shelter gets it.
