The cost of nicotine can cause a barrier to quit smoking.
The Porcupine Health Unit is offering Smoking Treatment for Ontario Patients (STOP).
It’s a five week program that offers cost-free nicotine replacement therapy which has proven to help people quit smoking by easing withdrawal symptoms
The program also offers relapse prevention strategies.
There will be a STOP workshop held in Timmins on March 26th.
