Country 93.1 and Socks Timmins are teaming up again this year to collect donated new socks. socks for the homeless and needy. Socks Timmins is now administered by the Kinette Club and Kinette Erin Thomson says donated socks can be store-bought or handmade.

“Anyone can bring their new, warm socks along the parade route and a member of the Kinette Club of Timmins or staff of Country 93.1 are going to be pulling some wagons,” Thomson states, “and we will come and collect them from you and get them onto the feet that need them.”

A recent program has replenished supplies of kids’ socks, so Thomson’s asking you to donate adult sizes on Saturday.  The organization currently has none for adults.
