Wanted man arrested by Timmins Police

Timmins Police have tracked down a wanted man, and are laying charges. The 35-year-old Timmins man was carrying various drugs when he was arrested over the weekend. Among them is crack cocaine, Fentanyl patches, and meth. The drugs are worth almost $4,000 on the streets. He was also carrying around $1,600 in cash. He’s being hit with three counts of drug trafficking, and has a court date in the fall.

Police had a busy weekend, responding to around 250 calls. Of those, 17 people face charges ranging from breach of probation, to harassment, mischief, and assault. Police also laid charges under the city’s noise by-law.
