Winless tournament for the Falcons

The Timmins Falcons is our Midget A girls hockey team, and they are in Boston right now for a tournament. The girls have been bumped up from U-17 double A to U-19 triple A. Coach Lindsey Leonard says there are 140 teams from across North America. She says they are at a bit of a disadvantage after not being on the ice since April, due to a lack of available ice in Timmins during the summer.

So far the girls have played four games and haven’t recorded any wins yet. However coaches are happy with the team, saying they are playing well in fast and physical games.
