The big clean-up of downtown Timmins is this Saturday.
Jason Sereda, a volunteer with Timmins Get Clean, says the group will be gathering at 9:00am in the parking lot between the library and the bus terminal.
“And we’re really just looking to clean up the downtown area and some of the walking trails around the city,” he adds, “collecting sharps, garbage, anything else we can find along the way.”

“All you need to bring is yourself and your friends and some safety gloves if you have them,” says Sereda. “We’ll provide the garbage bags and we’ll take care of the rest for everyone.”
