North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services has a new executive director.
Cléo Charlebois takes over from John Raymond, who retired last fall.
Since 2017, Charlebois – who grew up in Val Gagné – has been a director of services with NEOFACS. He’s been been employed in various capacities with NEOFACS and its predecessors since 1995. He is an honours BA graduate in social work from Laurentian University… after graduating from Northern College’s social service program.
In a news release from NEOFACS, Charlebois says “I look forward to working with staff, children, youth, families, alternate caregivers, volunteers, Board of Governors and the community, while continuing to promote a respectful and productive work environment within a culture built on ethical and anti-oppressive practices.”
