More car break ins, more charges

Timmins Police have laid charges after more cars were broken into. They got the call early yesterday morning that someone was in a car on Maple and seemed suspicious. Turns out a 32 year old man had broken into a bunch of cars in the area, and had taken both Canadian and American cash, as well as electronics and gift cards. He was still on the scene when police got there, so they arrested and charged him.

– Theft under $5000
– Possession of Property obtained by Crime under $5000
– Possession of a Schedule II Substance pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act

He was held in custody until a bail hearing on July 14.
