News Hunter couldn’t prove Aboriginal Harvesting Rights and was fined SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Thursday, Jul. 9th, 2015 Faking Aboriginal harvesting rights has landed a Timmins man in trouble. He was fined just over six-hundred dollars, part of which is because he hunted game birds without a license and claimed that Aboriginal status. He couldn’t provide any proof that, and so he was hit with the fine. The other part of the fine came from fishing without a license.
