‘How to Catch an Elf’ subject of story walk

Outdoor exercise and reading a fun, season-appropriate story are combined in a story walk in South Porcupine this weekend.

Charles M. Shields Centennial Library branch head Louise Gaudette says it features English and French versions of the Adam Wallace book, “How to Catch an Elf”.

“They’ve deconstructed them and reconstructed them on boards that are laminated so they can withstand the weather outside,” says Gaudette.

“It’ll start up this Friday at 10:00am. It’s in the Bart Thompson Trail and don’t forget it’s on the north loop of that trail. So this Friday until Monday night, 5:00pm.”

Gaudette says the story appeals to kids up to about Grade 5, but adults love it, too.
