ONA president says health cuts will cost system more

There`s a warning from the head of the Ontario Nursing Association.  President Linda Haslam-Stroud says cuts going on at agencies like the Porcupine Health Unit will cost the healthcare system more money.  Haslam-Stroud says budget constraints are being blamed for the cuts in programs and nurse practitioners.  But she says doing this means denying timely access to healthcare to some of the most vulnerable people including mothers and babies.  Haslam-Stroud says the public needs to voice its objections otherwise we`ll lose valuable health services.
