Lake Shore Gold says it`s possible that its Timmins West Mine can become a major gold mining centre. That`s because the company has found more gold in an area southwest of the Thunder Creek Deposit. The discovery is the second in the same area in less than a year and is the result of 25 drill holes at the company`s 144 Exploration Area. Lake Shore says the latest results gives it good reason to be very encouraged about the future of the 144 and Timmins West Complex.
