An all-Canadian line-up has been revealed for “Rock on the River Reconnect” at Hollinger Park, Friday, October 1st and Saturday the 2nd.

Timmins Festivals and Events Committee chairman John Olaveson says headlining Friday night will be The Arkells.

“They’ll be playing with July Talk, the Beaches and local artist Paul Sebalj,” Olaveson outlines. “Saturday night we have the Glorious Sons with J J Wilde, Matt Mays and the Relic Kings – that’s a regional act.”

The TFEC chairman says the committee was looking for the most relevant acts before and since the COVID-19 pandemic. The Glorious Sons sold out Scotiabank Place and were asked to do a few dates with the Rolling Stones.

“And then we’ve got the Arkells on the Friday night,” Olaveson adds, “who just recently played three nights at the Bud Bowl, formerly the Molson Amphitheatre, so three near sold-out nights there.”

Tickets are $80.00 dollars a night general admission $130.00 for VIPs, plus taxes and service fees.  They’re available on the Timmins Festivals and Events website.
