There have been questions about the fate of the youth program in Iroquois Falls and North Bay, after a similar program was suspended in Thunder Bay. MP for Timmins-James Bay Charlie Angus lobbied the feds for a commitment to keep the program up and running. He says the commitment is very meaningful, and Cadet Air Glider’s plays a huge role in building leadership. “I am heartened to hear that we have gotten this commitment out of the federal government. The Cadet program plays a huge role in building leadership opportunities for Canadian youth and it is important that it is here to stay,” says Angus. We will ensure that this commitment happens.”
