Of the 530 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Ontario Sunday, 30 are in the Porcupine Health Unit region.
The James Bay-Hudson Bay coast continues to be the hotspot, with 22. Four of the new cases are in Timmins; three between Smooth Rock Falls and Matheson; and one in the Kapuskasing area, between Fauquier and Opasatika .
The pandemic total so far is 1,859.
Public Health Ontario confirms another five cases are the Delta variant, for a total of nine.
