Rapid antigen screening kits for COVID-19 are now available to member businesses of the Timmins Chamber of Commerce.

Senior policy analyst Cameron Grant says you will be given enough to test all your employees twice a week for two weeks.  Then you can order more.

There’s no charge, because of the support of the Timmins Economic Development Corporation, EACOM and the senior levels of government.

“Beginning May 17th in fact, we’re going to be opening it up to the entire business community in Timmins,” Grant explains. “They’ll be able to order it the same way, by visiting our website and it’ll be entire free for them as well.”

If a test provides a positive or inconclusive result, there are instructions on next steps.

“We don’t see an end to the program right now,” Grant adds. “We will keep providing them free of charge to our businesses, so long as we keep receiving them.”
