First it was Woolco; then Walmart; and most recently, Sears. The days could be numbered for the east end of Timmins Square, where those businesses once operated.
Sources tell My Timmins Now Dot Com that contractors have been invited to estimate various costs on options for the space that’s been empty for about four years. One of those options is demolition.
A spokesperson for owner RioCan won’t comment yet… leaving it at there being a lot of work to get through before any ultimate decision.
