All nine drivers ticketed by city police on Highway 101 in South Porcupine on Sunday were breaking the speed limit by at least 26 km/h.
The six-hour enforcement initiative was meant to address persistent speeding through the mixed area of businesses and homes officially known as Harold Avenue.
Fines ranged from $100.00 to $300.00 plus demerit points.
