English Catholic schools could be hit by teachers’ work-to-rule on first day back

English Catholic schools between Hearst and the Tri-Towns might be hit by teachers’ job action on Monday.

In a letter to families, Northeastern Catholic School Board director Tricia Stefanic Weltz says that unless an agreement is reached in time, several work-to-rule sanctions are possible.

Weltz says the board will do its best to minimize the impact, but the pandemic and its health protocols make it more complex.
