These unprecedented times were joined today by an annual event unlike any other.  Right across Canada,  Remembrance Day observances were either cancelled or downsized, due to the health concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Here in Timmins, Branch 88 of the Royal Canadian Legion did hold a ceremony at the cenotaph adjacent to Hollinger Park, asking the public not to attend and keeping the assembly within public health crowd size limits.
