Right across Canada, Remembrance Day observances were either cancelled or downsized, due to the health concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic. Here in Timmins, Branch 88 of the Royal Canadian Legion did hold a ceremony at the cenotaph adjacent to Hollinger Park, asking the public not to attend and keeping the assembly within public health crowd size limits.
