Crime of the week: Storage facility break-in

The Timmins Police Service need the public’s help in solving a break, enter, theft and mischief which occurred at a multi unit storage facility in the south end of the City of Timmins.

On Thursday, October 8th, 2020 at about 1:30 in the morning 2 individuals are seen on security footage cutting the locks on approximately 25 storage units. They then proceeded to steal an undetermined amount of property and in the process also caused significant damage to the property inside the units.  One male is described as wearing a white sweatshirt and a face mask carrying the bolt cutters. The other male is seen wearing a dark coloured sweatshirt and face mask. Both are carrying dark coloured back packs.

Hundreds of dollars worth of property has been stolen and damaged. These individuals need to be held accountable.
