News Minor charged after bullying complaints SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Wednesday, Apr. 22nd, 2015 A 13 year old has been charged after bullying at a local school. Two different victims filed reports, sparking the investigation by the Timmins Police. They had allegedly been assaulted at school, as well as threatened over the past couple of years. There are 11 charges in total, including assault with a weapon, and uttering threats. The youth will appear in court, but their name can’t be released because they’re a minor. Statement from the Timmins Police: “Timmins Police officers take all incidents of bullying very seriously and investigate all reports of suspected bullying. The Community Services section, as well as TPS School Liaison officers work to ensure that students are able to recognize bullying and understand the potential consequences.”
