News Company picked for Kraft Creek Bridge study SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Thursday, Apr. 16th, 2015 Photo: Supplied by Taylor Ablett A study into the deteriorating Kraft Creek Bridge has been approved. The city is spending almost $130K dollars to have the company McIntosh Perry outline the different options to fix it. City Engineer Luc Duval says it needs a full makeover. “The time has come to actually spend some time reviewing what we need to do in terms of reconstruction of that bridge,” says Duval. “It’s certainly not a refurbishing. “It’s a wooden pier that supports wooden decks. We know that within the next two, three, years, doing nothing is not an option.” McIntosh Perry will bring their results back to council for deliberation.
