News Gas-and-dash suspect sought by TPS SHARE ON: Bob McIntyre, staff Friday, Jul. 17th, 2020 A pick-up truck is the target of a search by Timmins Police, related to a gas-and-dash incident at mid-morning Tuesday. The truck alleged to have left a gas station without paying. (Surveillance photo provided by Timmins Police Service) Communications coordinator Marc Depatie says it was at a station on Algonquin Boulevard East. Shortly after 9:30am, a driver put about about $40.00 worth into his tank, and left without paying. “The vehicle involved is a full-size black Chevrolet extended cab pickup with twin hood scoops, dark rims and a Quebec licence plate,” Depatie reports. “He was hauling a fully enclosed black dual-axle trailer.” The trailer.(Surveillance photo provided by Timmins Police Service) He adds that a description of the driver isn’t available. “Anybody with viable information is asked to call the Timmins Police Service at 705-264-4211 or use Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.”
