There’s a new case of COVID-19 in the area served by the Porcupine Health Unit, but he didn’t pick it up here.
PHU says the man in his 20s says it was acquired and confirmed outside the region. Provincial protocol, however, dictates that cases are attributed to the health unit in which the patient lives permanently. He is at home in self-isolation.
That makes 66 cases, eight deaths and 57 resolved.
