The patient who had the only active case of COVID-19 in Porcupine Health Unit territory has died.
The woman in her 90s was part of the outbreak at Timmins and District Hospital. She tested positive on April 20. Her death is the eighth blamed on the pandemic.
The number of cases remains at 65, with the last one diagnosed on May 10.
The health unit is now only releasing updated numbers on weekdays.
