Over $30K dollars is going to the Kayak Fest this summer.

The money is coming from a Celebrate Ontario grant, with over 100 events sharing the $8M grant.

The CEO of Festival and Events Ontario said in a press release that events are an economic engine for the tourism industry.

Over $2B provincially is made every year in the industry.
