COVID-19 test results for Ontario Premier Doug Ford and Deputy Premier Christine Elliott have come back negative.

Both were tested after Education Minister Stephen Lecce came into contact with an infected person and later tested negative for the virus.

A statement from the premier’s office says both Ford and Elliott have had no known contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 and, as a result, there is no need for them to self-isolate.
