DOWNTOWN PARKING TIME LIMIT COMING BACK
With stores in downtown Timmins able to open again on Monday for curbside pick-up… city clerk Steph Palmateer says the two-hour parking limit will be back.
“We’re still going to maintain the free parking for the on-street parking meters,” he says, “but we would like to have these spaces available for the patrons and customers of the retail businesses in the downtown corridor. We’re asking that all employees who may be working in the downtown to utilize the parking that’s available in our many downtown parking lots.”
