Bisson hosts virtual townhall dealing with coping with COVID-19 restrictions

Timmins MPP Gilles Bisson says there’s no political agenda behind a virtual townhall he’s planning for Wednesday evening.

Between 5:50 and 7:00pm, he’ll be staging a webcast and telephone forum dealing with COVID-19.

He says it’s an opportunity to talk about how you’re dealing with things, what you’re doing at home to pass the time, and how you’re coping with the stress.

“For all of us to share our stories and talk a little bit about what’s going on in our lives and how we’re dealing with all of this and it’s just a bit of a therapeutic thing at the same time, I think, for a lot of people,” Bisson explains.

“People are feeling somewhat isolated and it’s just a way of bringing people together, having an opportunity to have a discussion and just tell everybody else what they’re doing and how they’re feeling and how they’re coping.  So it’s an ability to be able to share.”

The entire thing also respects physical distancing.

Details on how to be involved are at www.GillesBisson.com/townhall.
