SNOWFALL WARNING – TIMMINS-COCHRANE-IROQUOIS FALLS

UPDATE: FRIDAY MARCH 20th, 2020:

The Snowfall Warning that was issued for Timmins, Cochrane, and Iroquois Falls yesterday continues for today (Friday, March 20th):

“Significant snowfall continues today. Additional snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm are expected before the snow tapers off this afternoon. This will give total snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm. Northerly winds gusting to 50 km/h will develop early this morning causing some blowing and drifting snow. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.”

A Snowfall Warning has been issued for Timmins, Cochrane, and Iroquois Falls for Thursday-Friday (March 19-20th). This is an update :

“Significant snowfall this evening into Friday. Snow will begin this afternoon, becoming heavy this evening. Snow will continue into Friday before tapering off Friday afternoon. Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm are expected by Friday afternoon. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.”
