Due to public health recommendations of social distancing amid the COVID-19 Pandemic, there are facilities that are closing along with various programs:
– Timmins Library and Museum have cancelled all March Break Programming along with group activities until the end of the month.
– The Archie Dillon Sportsplex Pool is closed to the public. Pool maintenance is planned to take advantage of the downtime.
– All remaining private bookings have been consolidated to the Archie Dillon Arena.
– On Monday March 16th 2020 the Ice Plant at the McIntyre Curling Club is being shut down along with the league putting an end the season.
