Snow Removal Schedule – February 17th to February 21st 2020

Daytime and night-time snow removal by the city teams will be taking place this week, from February 17th, 2020 to February 21st, 2020. Streets could be closed, lanes could be reduced. The best option is to find an alternate route to your destination. However, here are the roads that will be effected, and when city snow removal teams plan to clear them.

Daytime Snow Removal 7:30 Am to 4:00 PM

From February 17th, 2020 to February 21st, 2020, the Public Works Department wishes to inform the public that:

Monday, February 17th, starting at 7:30 AM:

  • No snow removal scheduled

Tuesday, February 18th, starting at 7:30 AM:

  • Mountjoy: Bonaventure, Majestic, Diamond, Pleasant, Castlewood
  • Mountjoy: Vanier, Center, Lynwood, Woodland, Champlain

Wednesday, February 19th, starting at 7:30 AM:

  • Timmins North: Patricia (Ross to Murray), Hart (Ross to Murray), Murray, Diane
  • Timmins South: Elm (Second to Dead end), Maple (Second to Dead end), First (Mountjoy to Pine)

Thursday, February 20th, starting at 7:30 AM:

  • Mountjoy: Frontenac, Hudson, Brock, Acres, Georgian
  • Timmins North: Laurier, Borden, Powerline

Friday, February 21st, starting at 7:30 AM:

  • TBD

Night Time Snow Removal 9:30 PM to 7:30 AM

From February 17th, 2020 to February 21st, 2020, the Public Works Department wishes to inform the public that crews will be doing night time snow removal.

Monday, February 17th, starting at 9:30 PM:

  • Timmins North: Brousseau, Hamelin

Tuesday, February 18th, starting at 9:30 PM:

  • Timmins North: Lafleur Bridge, Norman, JV Bonhomme

Wednesday, February 19th, starting at 9:30 PM:

  • Mountjoy: Riverside (Shirley to Canadian Tire)

The above plan or parts of the plan may also be changed at any time and/or delayed if a winter storm is in effect, or if there is a mechanical issue. The snow removal crew will change to a snow plowing operation. Those streets that may not be done will be done on the next available snow removal shift.
