There are six overall themes that sum up what Northerners want for their health care.

Those results come from a survey the North East Local Health Integration Network did, which got over a thousand responses.

Among the themes is access to health care and cultural diversity.

The latter asks for the needs of two specific groups to be addressed, Francophones and Aboriginals.

CEO of the LHIN, Louise Paquette, says their focus will continue to better meet the health care needs of Northerners in their setting of choice.
