Details are few about a serious traffic accident involving the son of the owners of the Cochrane Crunch junior hockey team. We do know that Ryan and Katherine Leonard’s son was in the accident Thursday in the Greater Toronto area. Last night’s game in Cochrane against the Timmins Rock was postponed, out of respect for the Leonard family. It’s not clear whether the Crunch will go ahead with their game against French River that’s set for tonight in Iroquois Falls. The Timmins team had arrived in Cochrane on Thursday and was starting warm-up exercises when the players were told of the accident and the postponement.
