Daytime and night-time snow removal by the city teams will be taking place this week, from December 16th to December 20th. Streets could be closed, lanes could be reduced. The best option is to find an alternate route to your destination. However, here are the roads that will be effected, and when city snow removal teams plan to clear them.
Daytime Snow Removal 7:30 Am to 4:00 PM
From December 16th to December 20th 2019, the Public Works Department wishes to inform the public that:
- No daytime snow removal is scheduled.
Night Time Snow Removal 9:30 PM to 7:30 AM
From December 16th to December 20th, 2019, the Public Works Department wishes to inform the public that crews will be doing night time snow removal.
Monday, December 16th, starting at 9:30 PM:
- Melrose: Westmount (College to Airport) Lonergan, Denise, Suzanne
- Timmins North: Jubilee, Ross, Toke
Tuesday, December 17th, starting at 9:30 PM:
- Timmins North: Mountjoy N (Algonquin to Vimy), Maclean (Vimy to JV Bonhomme)
- Timmins South: Wilson, Commercial, Theriault
Wednesday, December 18th, starting at 9:30 PM:
- Melrose: Brousseau, Victoria, Westmount (Bartleman to College)
- Mountjoy: Bonaventure, Meadow, Pleasant, Castlewood, Majestic, Diamond
The above plan or parts of the plan may also be changed at any time and/or delayed if a winter storm is in effect, or if there is a mechanical issue. The snow removal crew will change to a snow plowing operation. Those streets that may not be done will be done on the next available snow removal shift.
