Snow Removal Schedule – December 2nd to December 6th

Daytime and night-time snow removal by the city teams will be taking place this week, from December 2nd to December 6th. Streets could be closed, lanes could be reduced. The best option is to find an alternate route to your destination. However, here are the roads that will be effected, and when city snow removal teams plan to clear them.

Daytime Snow Removal 7:30 Am to 4:00 PM

From December 2nd to December 6th 2019, the Public Works Department wishes to inform the public that crews may be doing snow removal.

Monday December 2nd, starting 7:30 AM:

  • Timmins South: Elm (Second to dead end), Maple (Second to dead end), Birch (Moneta to Second)

Tuesday December 3rd, starting 7:30 AM:

  • Schumacher: Father Costello, Croatia (Battochio to Ponderosa), Grant, Boundary, Vipond (Father Costello to Templeton)

Wednesday December 4th, starting at 7:30 AM:

  • Timmins North: Hemlock (Fifth to Ross), Tamarack (Fifth to Ross), Spruce (Sixth to Ross)

Thursday December 5th, starting at 7:30 AM:

  • Schumacher: Dwyer, Fourth, Battochio, Lions Crest

Friday February December 6th, starting at 7:30 AM:

  • Churches

Night Time Snow Removal 9:30 PM to 7:30 AM

From December 2nd to December 6th, 2019, the Public Works Department wishes to inform the public that crews will be doing night time snow removal.

Monday December 2nd, starting 9:30 PM:

  • Timmins South: Third (Spruce to Mountjoy), Second (Brunette to Mountjoy), Brunette (Toke to Knox)

Tuesday December 3rd, starting 9:30 PM:

  • South Porcupine: Bruce (Legion to Lakeview), Main (Strachan to Shamrock), Golden (Legion to Evans), Powell (Crawford to Quebec), Bloor (Lakeview to Legion)

Wednesday December 4th, starting 9:30 PM:

  • Timmins South: Balsam (Sixth to Ogden), Maple (Second to Sixth), Birch (Second to Sixth), Elm (Second to Sixth)

Note on the Plan:

The above plan or parts of the plan may also be changed at any time and/or delayed if a winter storm is in effect, or if there is a mechanical issue. The snow removal crew will change to a snow plowing operation. Those streets that may not be done will be done on the next available snow removal shift.
