School buses for all four school districts in Timmins have been CANCELLED for today (Wednesday, November 27th). Schools will remain OPEN.
The cancellations affect all four of Timmins’ school boards:
- Conseil Scolaire Public du Nord-Est de L’Ontario
- District School Board Ontario North East
- Northeastern Catholic District School Board
- Conseil Scolaire Catholique de District des Grandes Rivieres
School buses are also cancelled in many surrounding areas due to the snowfall we received overnight, and the snow in the forecast for today.
This is the 3rd time that the school buses have been cancelled for the 2019-2020 school year, due to snow and/or ice conditions.
