This is Brenda Beaven, coordinator for the Cochrane District Crime Stoppers board. The Timmins Police Service want to thank you, the residents of the City of Timmins for all your help over the years in putting many criminals behind bars.

Since the Crime Stoppers program has come to the Timmins area you have provided the police with well over 15,000 tips. Those tips have helped police recover $2.5 million dollars worth of stolen property.
You have also helped police take well over $6 million dollars worth of illicit drugs off of our streets and out of the hands of our children.
It is a win win for you the tipster and the police because tipsters have been paid over $200,000 in cash awards. And police are able to catch criminals. And it’s a lose for those that chose to  commit crimes because your tips are putting them in jail.

So thank you! And keep up the great work!
And remember, you can do the right thing by coming forward. It’s easy! Call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS, use the internet at or download the P3 app.

See something, hear something, do something.  Call Crime Stoppers.
