Someone in Timmins is trying to strike it rich, allegedly without paying for his lottery scratch tickets.
Investigators at city police say that on Thanskgiving Monday just before 1:00pm, a man asked a convenience store clerk for cigarettes. When the clerk turned around to get them, he snapped two packs of Multi-Millionaire tickets off the counter.
The clerk followed him out of the store and got one pack of tickets back. When the bandit was asked for the second one, he ran.

Similar recent events are also under investigation.
