Teach for Canada is joining forces with Ontario to hire 40 teachers, and develop the north as a rural training hub. $70K is going into the program from the Rural Economic Development Program. Supporting northern and Aboriginal communities is part of a four part plan to build Ontario. Other aspects include building new infrastructure and new savings plans.
